We will now work for “Intensifying Indigenocracy” where emphasis is stressed on empowering Gram Sabhas.

            JUDAV recognizes the need to capacitate the Gram Sabhas beyond just strengthening which will continue and advance the work that was started over the previous period.

Therefore now the strengthened Gram Sabhas need to be empowered to counter the onslaught of Corporates – national and multi-national – trying to hi-jack community land. The MOUs continue to be signed and with maneuverings leading to changes in the government without going to elections has resulted MOUs being signed in favour of one group or the other depending who is in power.

We will continue with gender sensitization of men and women towards gender equality.  Jharkhandi Society which in its culture was known for its gender equality has been distorted by colonial culture so much so that gender violence has become the norm.

JUDAV believes that through the strengthened and empowered Gram Sabhas and peoples’ organizations Indigenocracy can change all these.
